This Paediatric First Aid course is designed for anyone responsible for the care of babies and young children. Led by expert trainers, it equips you with the skills to handle a wide range of emergencies. The course meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, making it ideal for Ofsted registered early years providers.

    • Ear, eye, and nose injuries
    • Sepsis

    Practical Training you will be given:

    • Managing an emergency (hands-on)
    • First aider roles and responsibilities
    • Communication and casualty care
    • Infant and child CPR
    • Unresponsive baby or child
    • Choking (baby/child)
    • Allergic reactions
    • Minor and severe bleeding
    • Seizures
    • Shock

    Learners must be aged 19+ and have a good standard of spoken and written English. If you need language support, please contact us in advance so we can advise on available options.

  • Assessment
    • Assessment: Quizzes, trainer observation, and written tasks.
    • Certification: Recognised Paediatric First Aid certificate, valid for three years.
